To read the reality of how women are treated at a professional level despite the same education and goals of their male counterparts, makes me sad and I hope for a different experience for my own teenage daughter. I hope this book can empower every woman to be strong, confident and compassionate in anything they want to set their mind to do. I am going to have my own daughter read this book and get a sense of the reality of this world yet understand only she can control how she behaves, reacts and her own self thoughts. We often think doctors must have it so easy and they never understand how we feel and this book changes that. Her experiences in the medical field and on earth as a woman are inspiring. She is a strong woman with a big heart. The tender way she writes about life coming into this world brought happy tears to my eyes. My picture has a can of Monster because this book and energy drinks got me through this past grading period, one physically and the other emotionally.
